By using Tavola, an SMS restaurant concierge for New York City operated by Cherry Street Labs, you agree to these terms.
The Service
Tavola lets you text us restaurants you'd like to visit and receive text messages back with reservation availability and related updates. Tavola is an independent service and is not affiliated with any restaurant or reservation platform.
SMS Program Terms
- Opt-in: you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Tavola in one of two ways: (a) by texting our number first or texting START, or (b) by submitting your phone number in the sign-up form at tavola.nyc/join and checking the SMS-consent box, which is unchecked by default and required to submit the form. Our first reply confirms your enrollment with program disclosures. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
- Message frequency varies based on your requests and activity, up to 3 messages per week.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out: reply STOP at any time. One final confirmation message will be sent.
- Support: reply HELP or email ciao@cherrystreetlabs.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Reservations
We surface reservation availability from public booking platforms (such as Resy, OpenTable, SevenRooms, and Tock) and from our own observations, and we send you links to book; the reservation itself is always between you and the restaurant or its booking platform, made by you in your own name. Availability changes quickly and we make no guarantee that any table will be available or held. For venues that do not take reservations, any wait-time or best-time information we send is an estimate.
Acceptable Use
Don't use Tavola for anything unlawful, abusive, or automated (no bots or scraping).
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tavola's total liability for any claim is limited to $50.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes to the SMS program will be communicated by text.
